Purpose:

The purpose of the African Hope Committee Incorporation is to provide health education, immigration and social support services to the newly arrived African immigrant population in New York City as well as other immigrant minority groups.

 

Mission Statement:

It is the mission of the African Hope Committee Incorporated to:

  • Serve as a bridge between mainstream service delivery systems and the African immigrant population.
  • Provide health education, immigration, social support services that meet the needs of African immigrant population in the metropolitan area.
  • Create partnerships that will advance the mission of the corporation.

  • To reach the African immigrant population in the metropolitan area, creating and building alliances with different ethnic groups from Africa.
  • To ensure quality health services for African immigrant population in New York.
  • To create environment where the African immigrant population is seen, heard and respected.
  • To build a community where African immigrants maximize their potential and maintain stability for their future.
